The Chesham Society has submitted this objection to the Pheasant Rise development, as it is on Green Belt land within the Chilterns National Landscape. It would be a prominent feature on the horizon from several viewpoints, detracting from the predominantly rural setting of the Town. We strongly support the Chiltern Conservation Board objection, made on similar grounds.

In addition, access to the site from Waterside would put further pressure on roads which are already overloaded, in part due to the limited parking available to existing residents in the area.
