The Chesham Society: Celebrating 65 Years

Saving Chesham’s public houses

Two notable buildings that the Chesham Society has been instrumental in saving – The Golden Ball and Waggon and Horses public houses. Today neither building is in use as a pub – the latter closed in 2014 – but their visual presence remains important to the townscape and help to remind us of Chesham’s tradition of brewing and selling beer, one of the Town’s four ‘B’s.
